Job Vacancy - Assistant Clerk

Hours - 15 hours per week

Salary - NJC Scale LC1/2 SCP 15-20, £29,093 to £30,559 pro rata plus Pension Scheme

Place of Work - the Parish Council office in Eskdale Road Community Centre.

Stoke Mandeville Parish Council is seeking to appoint an Assistant Clerk to work with the Clerk to ensure that the instructions of the Parish Council in connection with the function as a Local Authority are carried out in a timely manner.

In the absence of the Clerk, the Assistant Clerk will be responsible for the operation of the Council's services, and administration, including day to day management, and dealing with members of the Council, partners (such as contractors and suppliers) and the public.

Place of Work - Within the Parish of Stoke Mandeville.

Stoke Mandeville Parish Council is seeking to appoint a Parish Warden to help maintain and enhance the appearance, safety, and overall environment of the parish.

This is a hands-on, practical role ideally suited to someone who takes pride in their community and enjoys working independently. The Parish Warden will carry out a range of duties including minor repairs, routine maintenance, monitoring parish assets, and ensuring public spaces remain clean, safe, and well-presented.
