Children’s Play Area

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic using the facilities has changed and the residents need to be more aware and so a Play Area Safety sign has gone up at the entrance to the play area. May 2023 saw the opening of the new play area with more exciting equipment for all ages.

Queen Elizabeth II Field

A Fields in Trust scheme set up to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee asked landowners to designate land to be used in perpetuity for public recreation.  The Parish Council decided to nominate the recreation ground at Eskdale Road and were delighted in being successful in achieving this status.
