Best Kept Village Competition 2026
Stoke Mandeville is once again entering the Buckinghamshire Best Kept Village Competition, and we'd love everyone in our community to get involved to help make our village look its very best.
Judging will take place between 1 June and 14 July 2026, so now is the perfect time to help Stoke Mandeville look its best. The judges will be looking at areas such as community facilities, cemetery, green spaces, play areas, floral displays, environmental features, bus stops, noticeboards, litter, dog fouling, and evidence of community involvement.
What can you do?
Keep your front gardens tidy and blooming
Sweep your path and trim back overgrown verges
Pick up the litter and help keep our streets spotless
Be a responsible dog owner – always bag it and bin it
Shop and business owners: keep your frontage looking welcoming
This is about more than a competition - it's about community pride and working together. Your help can make all the difference!
